Description
Tesamorelin is a synthetic analogue of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) consisting of all 44 amino acids of human GHRH with a trans-3-hexenoic acid modification at the N-terminus. This modification provides increased stability and resistance to enzymatic degradation. It is the only GHRH analogue to have received FDA approval (for lipodystrophy), making it one of the most clinically validated peptides in GH research. Studies demonstrate its ability to significantly reduce visceral adipose tissue, increase IGF-1 levels, and improve trunk fat distribution.
