Description
Sermorelin is a synthetic analogue of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) consisting of the first 29 amino acids of the naturally occurring 44-amino acid sequence. It acts on the pituitary gland to stimulate the production and release of growth hormone in a pulsatile, physiological manner. Research has demonstrated its ability to increase lean body mass, reduce adipose tissue, and improve sleep quality in various study models. Unlike exogenous GH administration, Sermorelin preserves the natural feedback mechanisms of the GH axis.
